The application process is your opportunity to introduce yourself by reflecting upon past successes and failures, and looking into your future by explaining how a graduate degree fits into your personal and professional goals. When the admissions committee meets, we will evaluate not only your academic abilities, but also your motivation, character, career performance and leadership ability.
You have the ability to upload unofficial documents. Prior to admission we require official copies. Once your application is complete, the Admissions Committee will review your candidacy for admission to The Basel School.

Academic transcripts
All applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree at an accredited university. Please provide transcripts from every institution that you have attended, even if you did not receive a degree.
You may upload an unofficial copy with your application; however, we require official transcripts if you are accepted for study. Foreign credentials in a language other than English, German or French must be officially translated into English. MBA applicants currently enrolled in the final year of their bachelor's degree program may apply but official transcripts which reflect successful completion of the degree will be required for full admission.
English Language Proficiency
Applicants whose native language is not English should submit proof of English language proficiency. This requirement can be waived for applicants who have completed at least one academic year of university-level coursework in English. You may upload an unofficial copy with your application; however, we require official transcripts if you are accepted for study.

Standardized Test Scores
You may choose to submit GMAT or GRE scores if you wish to supplement your application. If you choose to submit your scores, they must be less than five years old. Scores older than that are older than five years are not considered valid and will not be accepted. You may upload an unofficial copy with your application; however, we require official transcripts if you are accepted for study.

The essay should be a maximum of 1,000 words.
Please provide contact information for two references who can attest to your skills and character. At least one reference must be someone who can evaluate the your leadership potential, such as a current supervisor. If you are self-employed or work in a family business, please provide a reference from a customer, supplier or other professional. The second reference may come from anyone who can add new and valuable insights to your application. Please ensure that both recommenders know you well enough to offer specific examples of your performance and character.
Please provide their full names and email addresses. They will receive an email with a link to an online form. They can also email, fax or mail their recommendations directly to the admissions office.
